PowerGrid Q2 profit rises to Rs 1,126 crore

State-run PowerGrid Corporation has posted a net profit of Rs 1,126 crore for the quarter ended September, against Rs 709 crore reported during the corresponding period last year. Total income for the quarter rose 32 per cent to Rs 3,243 crore from Rs 2,459 crore a year ago.
