Ruchi Soya Q2 net up 32% to Rs 64 cr

Ruchi Soya Industries today reported 31.85 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 63.63 crore during the second quarter of the current fiscal.

The company had registered a net profit of Rs 48.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it said in a statement.

Net sales of the edible oil manufacturing company also increased by 19.45 per cent to Rs 3,805 crore from Rs 3,186 crore in the July-September period of the last fiscal.

"Considering the encouraging business environment, we expect superior contribution from soya crushing operations during the next two quarters and a promising year ahead," company Managing Director Dinesh Shahra said.
