S Varadarajan takes over as BPCL CMD
Replaces RK Singh, who superannuated on September 30
S Varadarajan has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL), India's second biggest oil refiner. Varadarajan has replaced RK Singh, who superannuated on September 30.
Varadarajan, who was the Director (Finance) at BPCL, was selected by government's headhunter Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) in interviews held in February 2013.
Varadarajan, 56, will be the Chairman and Managing Director of BPCL till his superannuation at end of September 2016.
