Sun TV posts 9.03% profit at Rs 340 cr

Sun TV today announced its FY09 results. The company's net profit increased 9.03 per cent to Rs 340.04 crore. Its income increased 19.47 per cent to Rs 1039.36 crore.

Sun TV Network recently appointed Ajay Vidyasagar as Chief Operating Officer of the company. Sun TV Network, a leading television broadcaster in the country, operates 20 satellite television channels across four languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Currently, it airs 42 FM radio stations across the country.
