Swiss International Air Lines appoints new India GM

Markus Altenbach replaces Jean-Philippe Benoit, who retired recently

Swiss International Air Lines has appointed Markus Altenbach as their new General Manager, India.

He took over from Jean-Philippe Benoit, who retired recently.  

Since 1999, Altenbach has been based in Brazil as the Regional Director of Swiss International Air Lines for Latin America.

In his new assignment as General Manager for India,  Altenbach will be responsible for overseeing Swiss International Air's direct sales and maintaining relationship with top clients and sales partners, among other operational functions.
