Hyderabad-based TAJ GVK Hotels and Resorts Limited clocked a 19.27 growth in net profit at Rs 3.28 crore for the third quarter (Q3) of the current financial year, when compared with Rs 2.75 crore in the same period last year.
Net sales during the quarter declined 2.04% at Rs 65.30 crore, as against Rs 66.66 crore for the corresponding period last year.
Total expenses were down 2.1% at Rs 55.41 crore from Rs 56.63 crore last year. Gross interest came lower at Rs 4.71 crore as against Rs 5.75 crore last year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.52, showing an 18.18% growth over the corresponding period's Rs 0.44.
Shares of the company stood at Rs 59.45 on Monday on the BSE, up Rs 0.45, or 0.76%.
