Tata Tele upgrades Walky service

| Tata Teleservices, one of the fastest growing telecom service providers in India, has launched internet facility with pre-paid Walky, which is expected to enable customers experience hassle free and fast internet connectivity. |
| To connect to the internet, the subscribers should have an internet enabled LG LSP 350T Walky and data cable to connect the phone and to the personal computer. |
| Modem is not required as the LG LSP 350T Walky has an inbuilt modem. Priced at Rs 1999, LG LSP 350T charges Rs 2 per MB to access the internet, with data cable to be purchased separately. |
| Tata Teleservices also inaugurated its First True Value Hub (TVH) for customers in Durgapur which aims to provide an end-to-end sales and service experience to the customers. |
| The TVH would be a 'One Stop Shop' for all telephony needs of customers. |
| Covering an area of 750 sq. ft, the TVH will offer customers a complete range of information on Tata Indicom products and services, which include, postpaid and prepaid offerings on mobiles and Walky. |
| The company also plans to launch TVH in 2 more towns in the rest of West Bengal by March 2007. |
| The TVH would offer and provide information to the customers on the widest range of Tata Indicom product portfolios - mobile, fixed wireless service and a host of value added services. |
| To mark the occasion, the company announced the launch of their internet service facility in prepaid Walky & Indicom 10. |
| The company also announced the launch of 5 new handsets "� Haier D1000, Haier D1200, Haier T1100C, Kyocera Topaz & Indicom Rhythm under their post paid scheme for Mobile phones. |
| The retail expansion is aimed towards increasing penetration and ensuring easy accessibility to the Tata Indicom products and services in cities and towns, spanning semi-urban and rural areas as well. |
| The number of True Value Shoppes (TVS), which stands at 183 at present, is expected to go upto 225 in ROWB Circle by March 2007-end. |
| Tata Indicom service is today available in 170 towns across West Bengal. By the end of the financial year Tata Indicom services aims to be available in over 230 towns. |
