Toyota Kirloskar Motor today reported 10.52% increase in its total sales at 15,795 units in September, 2013.
The company had sold 14,291 units in the corresponding month last year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement.
Sales in the domestic market were at 12,015 units in September 2013, marginally down from 12,115 units in the corresponding month last year, it added.
During the month, the company exported 3,780 units of the Etios, it added.
Commenting on sales, TKM Deputy Managing Director and COO (Marketing and Commercial) Sandeep Singh said: "The market continues to be sluggish. We hope that the market will improve with the upcoming festive season."
