		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>UltraTech Cement, an Aditya Birla group company, has posted a 29 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 1,008 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2008, as compared with Rs 782 crore in the previous year. Net sales grew 12.18 per cent to Rs 5,509 crore from Rs 4,911 crore. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>For the quarter January-March 2008, net profit increased 22 per cent to Rs 283 crore from Rs 232 crore in the previous corresponding quarter. Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 1,602 crore as against Rs 1,465 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
