VBC Ferro Alloys today said its board has given 'in principle' approval for the merger of Orissa Power Consortium Ltd (OPCL) with itself.
The board approved merger of Orissa Power Consortium Ltd with the parent company, which is also promoter of VBC and Ferro Alloys, said in a filing to the BSE.
The proposal is subject to the approvals from concerned authorities, the filing added.
