8 IAS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday transferred eight Indian administrative services (IAS) officers, an official spokesman said here.

Social welfare Secretary K Ram Mohan Rao has been transferred as divisional commissioner, Jhansi where as Secretary higher education Arvind Narain Mishra has been freed from the charge of secretariat administration department, he said. Commissioner of rural development, Prabhat Mittal, has been posted as secretary, secretariat administration department. Kamran Rizvi, who was on the wait list, has been posted in Mittal's place.

Mahendra Prasad Aggarwal, who was on the wait list, has been posted as secretary, irrigation.

Chief Development Officer Bijnor Bhawani Singh Khagraut has been put on the wait list. Sudhir Garg, who was on the wait list, has been posted as divisional commissioner, Moradabad. Infrastructure and Industrial Development Secretary M K S Sundaram has been shifted as divisional commissioner, Azamgarh.
