All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has said that 77 individuals have lost their life due to the shock and distress induced after hearing that Jayalalithaa has been hospitalised and upon hearing about her death.
The party, in a press release issued today, listed out the names and address of the deceased and declared Rs 3 lakh for the family of each of them.
Besides, a party leader in Cuddalore tried to immolate himself after knowing about Jayalalithaa's illness.
