The movie has so far tied up with various brands including AirAsia, Cadbury 5 Star, Amazon, ShopCJ and Airtel, for its promotion. D Paranthaman, chief executive officer of V Creations, which produces the movie, said that the cinema has tied up with various brands for a value of Rs 40 crore for brand promotions.
The production house is also expected to come out with a few merchandise before the movie gets released.
Under the tie up, the Airtel will be rolling out a 3D Holographic Airtel Kabali Van that will go around Tamil Nadu running movie teaser and exclusive bytes from the cast, for 30 days starting from a week before the release of the movie.
It will also introduce special Kabali recharge packs with unlimited 2G internet, new branded SIM packs in the movie name and exclusive SMS channel in which the users can send SMS, which will be compiled into a coffee table book and presented to Rajinikanth as a memorabilia.
Airtel has earlier tied up with Kochadaiiyaan, a Rajinikanth starrer, which is first photorealistic performance capture.
