Cabinet approves MoU with US Homeland Department on cyber security

The US and India also signed a MoU in 2011 for timely exchange of information

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a Memorandum of Understanding on the with the United States, said an official release.

The MoU was signed between the (CERT-ln) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the US Security Department on cooperation in

The US and India also signed a MoU on July 19, 2011, to promote closer cooperation and timely exchange of information between organisations of their respective governments that were responsible for cyber security.

Since July 19, 2011, regular interactions between CERT-In and US-CERT are taking place to share information and discuss cyber security-related issues.
