Bihar MP Pappu Yadav allegedly misbehaved with an air hostess and the cabin crew while on board a Jet Airways flight from Patna to Delhi. According to a complaint letter to the airline, the air hostess charged accused Yadav of threatening her with his chappal, Firstpost.com reported.
"While having lunch on the flight, 1A (Pappu's seat number) dropped the dessert on his bag kept near his feet and asked the crew to clean it. (He) told the crew MPs don't do this work. 1A took off his chappal and showed it (to) the crew. (He) told the crew he would hit them with it if the crew told him anything," The Times of India quoted the flight attendant as saying in her complaint letter.
Yadav however denied the allegations. The Financial Express quoted him saying, “I have been travelling by flight for the past 35 years and there has never been a single allegation against me. I am going to file a complaint against this allegation to the CEO of the airline because I feel that the airhostess and the crew is doing this just to get into the public eye. I think that this is a conspiracy against me.”
Yadav has earlier been expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal for his “anti-party activities”.
