Release 2,000 cusecs daily to Tamil Nadu, SC tells Karnataka

The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked Karnataka to release 2,000 cusecs of water daily to Tamil Nadu from October 7 to 18.

The apex court order came after it earlier on Tuesday asked Karnataka how much Cauvery river water it can share with the downstream state in this period and sought the information be conveyed to it by 3.15 pm
