Congress-NCP combine extended its lead to 132 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and appears set to retain power, leaving behind the opposition Shiv Sena-BJP alliance which is ahead in 97 segments.
As per the trends available for all the 288 seats, Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is leading in 14 seats, Third Front in 12 and others in 33 seats.
In Phandarpur, Maharashtra minister Vijaysingh Mohite Patil (NCP) is trailing his nearest rival Bharat Bhalke (IND) by over 20,000 votes.
Congress ministers of state Vijay Wadettiwar (Chimur), Nitin Raut (Nagpur-North), Congress party nominee Sunil Kedar (Saoner), NCP party candidate Anil Deshmukh (Katol) are leading over their respective rivals on Vidarbha region.
Wadettiwar is leading by 2,111 votes against Vasanth Warjurkar of BJP while Nitin Raut is ahead by 5,295 votes over his BJP rival Rajesh Tambe at the end of the fourth round.

In Nashik central constituency, Maharashtra minister of State for Health Shobhatai Bachhav (INC) was trailing MNS candidate Vasant Gite. Bachhav polled 6,113 votes while Gite polled 14,448 votes at the end of fourth round.
In Igatpuri, (ST) constituency CPM candidate Anjana Raut was leading over Congress candidate Nirmala Gavit.
Those leading include Industry Minister Narayan Rane (Kudal), Union Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's daughter Praniti (Solapur) and Omraje Nimbalkar (Osmanabad), son of slain Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal (NCP) was leading by 1,739 votes at the end of first round of counting at Yeola assembly constituency in Nashik district. His son Pankaj is leading in Nandgaon constituency.
In Alibaug, Peasants and Workers Party (PWP) candidate Meenakshi Patil is leading over Madhu Thakur of Congress after first three rounds of counting.
In Karjat constituency of Raigad district, Suresh Lad of NCP is ahead of Sena candidate Devendra Satam.
From Pen seat, Congress candidate Raviseth Patil is ahead of PWP candidate Dhairsheel Patil.
In Shrivardhan constituency, NCP's Sunil Tatakare is leading over Shiv Sena candidate Tukaram Surve and in Mahad, Sena nominee Bharat Gogawale is ahead of NCP candidate Manik Jagtap.
Chief Minister Ashok Chavan (Congress) was leading by 54,000 votes over independent candidate Madhavrao Kinhalkar in Bhokar constituency.
In Islampur constituency, Maharashtra Home Minister Jayant Patil is leading over Vaibhav Naikwade (independent). Patil has polled 30,294 so far while Naikwade received 12,633 votes.
In Kavthe Mahankal, state NCP president was ahead of his nearest Shiv Sena rival and polled 12,186 votes so far.
At end of fourteenth round, in Alibaug constituency, PWP nominee Meenakshi Patil was leading by 12,261 votes against Madhu Thakur of Congress.
In Shrivardhan, NCP leader Sunil Tatkare is ahead of Sena candidate Tukaram Surve while in Mahad seat, Sena nominee Bharat Gogawale was leading against NCP's Manik Jagtap after 16th round.
After the tenth round, in Karjat constituency of Raigad district, NCP candidate Suresh Lad is leading against Sena candidate Devendra Satam.
Amit, son of Union minister and Congress leader Vilasrao Deshmukh, Pankaja, daughter of BJP General Secretary Gopinath Munde and Praniti, daughter of Union minister Sushilkumar Shinde are leading from Latur, Parli and Solapur seats respectively.
MNS candidate Bala Nandgaonkar was leading by over 1000 votes in Shivadi constituency in Mumbai.
Leader of Opposition in Legislative Aseembly Ramdas Kadam (Shiv Sena) was leading with 10,492 votes in Guhagar constituency in coastal Konkan region while BJP rebel Vinay Natu was at third position at the end of round four.
Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi was leading from Mankhurd and Varsha Gaikwad of Congress leading from Dharavi constituency in Central Mumbai.
Kalidas Kolambkar of Congress is leading from Sion-Koliwada with 14,723 votes. Nitin Sardesai of MNS is leading in Dadar-Mahim with 5,214 votes.
MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar is leading with 10,697 from Worli constituecy after the third round of counting.
Former Union Minister Subodh Mohite of Congress was trailing by 3,894 votes over Gondwana Gantantra Party nominee Mallikaarjun Reddy in Ramtek segment.
Satish Chaturvedi of Congress was trailing by 2,461 votes over his BJP rival Krishna Khopde in Nagpur (East) at the end of second round of counting.
Pankaja Munde, daughter of BJP leader Gopinath Munde, was ahead in Parli over her nearest Congress rival. Pankaja polled 9,046 votes, while T P Munde of Congress got 3,384 votes so far.
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Shivajirao Nilangekar of Congress is leading over his grandson Sambhaji Patil Nilangekar in Nilanga seat.
BJP candidate Sudhakar Deshmukh was leading by 1,062 votes over his rival Congress nominee and minister Anees Ahmed in West Nagpur constituency.
Nitin Raut (Congress) was leading by 1605 votes over his BJP rival Rajesh Tambe in North Nagpur constituency while in Nagpur Central seat, Vikas Kumbhare (BJP) was ahead by 3245 votes over his congress rival Raju Devghare.
