Consolidated Accounts May Be Made Must

The government is planning to make consolidated accounts, including accounts of subsidiaries, mandatory for all companies after the recent stock market scam and other financial irregularities eroded investor confidence.

The decision may be taken after the department of company affairs (DCA) examines a report submitted by the National Accounting Standards Advisory Committee.
