Our Political Bureau New Delhi
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has opposed the Union Cabinet's decision to divest 10 per cent of the government's stake in Nalco and Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC).

According to senior CPM leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechury, the CPM has been opposing the move in all the Left-UPA Coordination Committee meetings.

"We have been opposing this kind of divestment and will continue to do so. We have called a meeting of the party leaders to decide what form our opposition will take," he said.
