Cricket captain Dhoni weds Kumaoni girl

Flamboyant Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, 29, on Sunday finally lost the tag of being one of India’s most eligible bachelors, as he got married to a girl of his parents’ choice. After recently being linked with Asin, a Bollywood actress, Dhoni sprang a surprise by exchanging the sacred vows with Sakshi Rawat, who recently completed a hotel management course. Her father is an executive in a private company. The wedding was at Vishrant Resorts, a private farmhouse at Kandoli village near Dehra Dun, amid tight security. The marriage was a blend of Kumaoni and other Hindu traditions.
