Govt clears Rs 538 crore worth proposals

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) today approved a couple of investment proposals in sectors such as soft drink and iron ore beneficiation amounting to Rs 538 crore. The authority approved Rs 478 crore iron ore beneficiation and pelletisation plant proposal of Kolkata-based Ambo Steel and Power, which will set up the 1.2 million tonne per annum plant on 200 acres land at Barakot in Deogarh district. Besides, the panel approved a softdrink bottling plant proposal of SMB Beverages, which will produce 10 million crates under Pepsi brand every year.
