Gujarat govt delegation visits Europe

A twelve member delegation comprising business leaders and government officials from the state visited European nations between June 18 and June 28 to highlight investment opportunities in Gujarat, promote the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit of 2013, as well as meet city administrators and ministers in the European cities to cement developing relationships.

The delegation visited Hamburg and Frankfurt in Germany in Germany, Paris and Lille in France and Geneva, Basel and Zurich in Switzerland. The delegation met Frank Horch, minister for economy, transport and innovation of Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg to discuss cross border partnerships, investment opportunities and bilateral trade between the two regions. They extended an invitation to the minister and German business leaders, investors, corporations, academic leaders and policymakers to the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit, January 11-13, 2013.
