HC dismisses contempt case against Campco

The Karnataka High Court has dismissed the "contempt of court" case against Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Co-operative Ltd (Campco) filed by B Sankappa Rai, former Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat president.

According to a press release from S R Rangamurthy, Campco president, High Court Justice J Veerabadraiah gave the verdict.The nomination of K Pramod Kumar Rai and Ivan D'Souza as directors of Campco by the government stands cancelled.
