I&B to assess manpower need in animation

The union information and broadcasting ministry has engaged M/s PricewaterhouseCoopers to assess the future requirement of skilled manpower in gaming and visual effects sector.

According to a spokesman on the Union Government, the report would aim at giving the government an understanding of the requirement of skilled manpower in view of the growing demand for professionals in these sectors.

The report would enable the government to plan and create necessary training facilities in the field. The company would assist the ministry in identifying manpower and skill sets requirement parameters for the industry.
