Industrial park being developed near Mysore

BS Reporter Chennai/ Mysore

The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) is developing an industrial estate at Kadakola, near the Nanjangud industrial area, on Mysore-Ooty highway.

The estate is coming up in different survey number areas of the Kadakola village which is also connected by the Mysore-Chamarajanagar train. It has fixed the land cost at an ad hoc price of Rs 70 lakh an acre. Plots of 0.25 acre, 0.50 acre and 1 acre are ready to be allotted to small scale units whose investments are not above Rs 3 crore.

Industrialists interested in these plots should apply before May 31 to the KIADB Development Officer, Metagalli, Mysore, with the relevant documents. Along with their applications, they should also attach a demand draft for 7.5 per cent of the land value they propose to have, said the KIADB in a press release here.
