JKTDC, IRCTC to launch joint tour packages in J&K

The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation has entered into tie-ups with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and some private airlines to launch joint package tours to promote tourism in the state.

"JKTDC has entered into tie-ups with IRCTC and some private airlines for launching of package tours as well as accommodation to promote tourism in the state,"state Tourism Ministry officials said here.

As a result of this agreements, the travel division of JKTDC has already got advance bookings for Kashmir for the coming summers and prominent travel companies like Kesari Travels, Raj Travels, Nav Bharat travels have already deposited advance money for the tours, they added.
