Jnpt, Customs Evince Interest In Sez Project

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has received approvals from the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) and the Customs authorities for its ambitious Navi Mumbai special economic zone (SEZ) project.

In addition to this, the process of selecting a strategic partner has also reached its penultimate stage and would be completed before March 2003, according to a release issued here. The US-based McClier has been appointed as the master planners for the SEZ project.

According to a Cidco official:
