Malaysia keen on BT collaborations

| Malaysia is keen on setting up collaborative projects in the biotech sector, especially in the production of drugs. |
| Malaysian deputy prime minister Mohammed Najib Tun Abdul Razak, leading a high power delegation on a business mission to India, told reporters here on Saturday that he is impressed with India's strides in the biotech sector. |
| "We wish to facilitate our private sector companies to set up collaborative projects with their Indian counterparts in the biotech sector, especially in the production of drugs," he added. |
| Razak, who visited the PSU major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's (HAL) facility at Nashik, said Malaysia was keen on entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the HAL for various business initiatives, including maintenance and supply of spares to the Russian-made Sukhoi fighter aircraft. |
| "Also, we will request India to train our air force pilots to fly the Sukhoi fighter planes," he added. |
