Modi makes slew of announcements on Guj Foundation Day

The 52nd Gujarat Foundation Day was on Tuesday celebrated in Dahod with great fervour with chief minister Narendra Modi making a slew of announcements for the tribal dominated district.

Modi announced Rs 456 crore bulk water supply scheme for clean and sufficient water for drinking and irrigation purpose to 210 villages of Dahod district.

At a state level function held in Dahod, Modi also announced an underground sewer scheme worth Rs . 45 crore for Dahod city.

He also performed ground breaking ceremony for the 82 km long Kadana dam based water supply scheme, worth Rs . 127.12 crore, for Dahod city besides inaugurating the hostel for engineering college as part of the Foundation Day celebration. In all 500 odd development works worth Rs . 903 crore were announced.
