The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) has arrested 10 Indian fishermen and seized three fishing boats near the Indo-Pak maritime border off Jhakau coast in Kutch, according to National Fishermen Forum.

"The incident took place last evening when the Indian fishermen were fishing near the International Maritime Border in the Arabian sea," said Manish Lodhari, Forum's secretary.

The PMSA apprehended four boats with 21 persons on board, but 11 of them were released along with one boat, Lodhari informed.

"These 10 fishermen and their three boats have been taken to Karachi," he said, adding that all the fishermen were members of the Porbander Boat Association (PBA). The 11 released fishermen reached Porbander today.

According to PBA president Hiralal Siyar, 51 fishermen and 12 boats were seized by the PMSA near the Maritime Border in three separate incidents last month.
