Rs 800 Crore Revitalisation Bonds For Co-Op Banks

The high-powered committee on reforms in the co-operative credit structure has recommended that the Centre and state governments subscribe to revitalisation bonds of up to Rs 800 crore issued by co-operatives in the ratio of 60:40.
Finance ministry officials told Business Standard that the total losses of co-operative banks will be accounted for by the bond issue.
