Shivraj extends Global Investors Meet invitation to Modi

Investors will be participating in the meet to be organised in Indore on 8-10 Oct

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for participation in Global Investors Summit to be organised in Indore next month. Chouhan met him today in New Delhi.

Chouhan urged the Prime Minister, according to a government official, that his speech will encourage investors who will participate in the meet to be organised in Indore on 8-10 October this year. The chief minister was accompanied by state Industry minister Yashodhra Raje Scindia, who had also invited a large number of investors, business honchos and other dignitaries. Anil Ambani, chairman ADAG Group, Shashi Ruia, chairman Essar Group, Raghupati Singhania of JK Tyres and Aniruddha Dhoot of Videocon group have already given their confirmation to participate in the meet.
 

Besides, as many as 900 representatives and 100 dignitaries have given their consent t oparticipate in the meet. The state, the official informed further, has receivedconfirmation of participation from representatives of 11 countries. Of them the UK, Canada, Maxico, Japan, Australia, South Africa are six partner countries in the summit.
