Ultras May Avenge Ghazi Baba & #8217;S Death

Security forces feel that Islamic militants may launch retaliatory strikes to avenge the killing of Shahnawaz Khan alias Ghazi Baba, Jaish-e- Mohammad chief in India, and his lieutenant Rashid in an encounter on Saturday.

The killing of Ghazi Baba, the most dreaded terrorist in the Valley who carried a Rs 20 lakh award on his head, had dealt a serious blow to militancy in the Valley, said Border Security Force (BSF) Director-General Ajai Raj Sharma.

Sharma said there was no scope for complacency as Jaish operatives might attack the BSF in utter frustration.
