Bank of Baroda FY07 net at Rs 1,026cr

Bank of Baroda today reported a net profit of Rs 1,026.47 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 826.97 crore in FY06.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income moved up to Rs 10,385.88 crore from Rs 8,177.34 crore in FY06.

The bank has posted a net profit of Rs 245.66 crore in Q4FY07 as against Rs 208.80 crore in Q4FY06. Total income was Rs 2,912.36 crore as against Rs 2,327.07 crore in Q4FY06.

"BOB Housing Finance, a subsidiary of the bank, has been merged with the bank w.e.f. April 1, 2006. The figures of the year/quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as such not comparable with the corresponding previous periods figures," the release added.
