Blackwill Says Trade Disparity Worrisome

The growing trade imbalance between the US and India, especially the underlying market access asymmetries, is a cause for concern, according to outgoing US Ambassador to India Robert Blackwill.
The two-way trade between the US and India, in 2002 aggregated $15 billion. Of this,
Indian exports to the US at $11.7 billion, was three times more than the US exports to India.
