Bonds rise on easing inflation

Government bonds rose a notch on thin volumes after the release of the inflation data, which showed a decline to 6.50% for the week ended December 18 from the last week level of 6.73%.

Yield on the 7.38% 2,015 bond dipped to 6.54% from the morning level of 6.56% and Thursday's close of 6.57%.
