Dena Bank Q3 net up 39% at Rs 140 cr

Public-sector lender Dena Bank today said its net profit in the third quarter grew 38.87 per cent at Rs 140.36 crore as compared to Rs 101.07 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

Total income rose to Rs 1,093.54 crore in the December quarter from Rs 804.13 crore a year ago.

For the nine-month period ended December 31, Dena Bank posted a net profit of Rs 311.50 crore, a 25.20 per cent growth over the corresponding period a year ago. It had a net profit of Rs 248.79 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Shares of Dena Bank surged 4.81 per cent and were trading at Rs 33.75 in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
