Remote Banking Yet To Gain Currency

Automated teller machines (ATM) may be becoming the preferred channel for banking for the city bred, but the good old bank branches continue to be the primary channel for transactions.
The latest round of INVESTRACK-(V), the fifth round of a syndicated study by ORG-MARG on the investment and banking habits and preference of Indian investors, reveals an extremely low usage of ATMs with almost 81 per cent of respondents stating that they have never used an ATM.
