The rupee is trading at 62.36/37 versus its close of 62.5250/5350, tracking weakness in the dollar versus majors and other Asian currencies.


The rupee was trading strong in morning trades due to a higher opening of other currencies against the dollar.<br />

At 10:55 am, the rupee was at Rs 62.42 compared with previous close of Rs 62.54 per dollar.<br />

However, currency dealers see a weakening bias during the day due to dollar demand from oil companies.<br />
