Shyam Srinivasan to be Federal Bank CEO

The Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Shyam Srinivasan as the new managing director and CEO of the Kerala-based Federal Bank.

"Approval has already been received from RBI for the appointment of Shyam Srinivasan as the new managing director & CEO of the bank," a Federal bank press release said.

Until Srinivasan assumes office, P R Kalyanaraman, executive director will hold the charge of the office of the managing director & CEO.

Srinivasan succeeds M Venugopalan who retired on July 31.
