'Syndicate Bank enters league of large banks'

Celebrating its 88th foundation day, state-run Syndicate Bank said it is now in the league of large banks with a business of over Rs 3,46,000 crore as on September 30, 2013. "Bank has been progressing on sound financials, and registered business level of Rs 3,46,000 crore with 33 million customers as on September 30. It is now in the league of large banks," Syndicate Bank CMD S K Jain said, speaking at an event organised to celebrate bank's 88th foundation day here."Spread over 3,047 branches, the bank is having strong fundamentals and is showing consistent performance," he added.
