The Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Shri Rajyavardhan Rathor has said that Vijaydashmi in not only a symbol of Victory of goodness on evil but an excellent exempla of communal harmony.

Addressing a mammoth gathering on the occasion of vijaydashmi in Amritsar of Punjab today he said this event is celebrated by all faction of the society with religious fervor & enthusiasm in the country.

The Minister called upon the people to strengthen peace & communal harmony which are vital for nation's development & prosperity. Mr. Rathor appreciated the efforts of local Dusherra committee for organizing such type of event which encourage peace & hormony.
