Southern Railway's Chennai Division has loaded an automobile consignment for export to Nepal. This is the first ever export via train.
A total of 125 cars of Hyundai make were moved by IVC Logistics Limited in NMG (New Modified Goods) rakes consisting of 25 coaches from Walajabad to Nautanwa, Uttar Pradesh, which is close to the Nepal border. This traffic has generated a revenue of Rs 18.27 lakh for Railways.
