It's official now - Donald Trump has been elected the 45th President of the United States of America after pulling off a stunning victory. This is indeed a historic moment for the US. Despite the groundswell of negative reaction from around the world there was also support for a Trump victory. Twitter, as expected, was flooded with opinion.

With congratulations pouring in for the most unlikely President elect, one Twitter user said, "President Trump will either be the best President ever or the worst. No middle ground for this guy". Trump made that clear in his post victory speech too - America wants nothing but the best.

 

He said, "No dream is too big, no challenge is too great. Nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach. America will no longer settle for anything less than the best".

Against all odds, polls and projections Donald Trump beat an even more formidable opponent in Hillary Clinton. Hence, his victory has sent shockwaves across the globe.
