DuPont to make India its global launch pad

| The 202-year-old US-based company DuPont has decided to make India the launch pad for its products worldwide. DuPont is planning to roll out products worldwide once they are tested in India. |
| Leading the worldwide launch, DuPont India has unveiled Teflon Sign Solutions, a unique three-layered signage system. This initiative will be rolled out in Asia Pacific, US and European markets later. |
| Recently, The Solae Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of DuPont, launched its first-ever global consumer brand 'Soy day' in the country. |
| Upal Roy, business manager, DuPont Fluoroproducts, EI DuPont India, said: "We will launch several new products in the country. India could be knowledge hub for Asia Pacific region". |
| Meanwhile, DuPont India is targeting the $40 million corporate identity market with its three-layered signage system, DuPont Teflon Sign Solutions. |
| It is holding talks with several private oil and gas companies who are entering the retail market as well as banks and financial institutions. Moreover, the product is also targeted at high-end retail stores and telecom companies. |
| R Prakash, market development manager, Fluoropolymer solutions, Asia Pacific, EI DuPont India said: "India has a highest growth potential and we are developing the brand. Our aim is to have a market approach for the product for customised service". |
| DuPont's focus will be on Indian corporate identity segment which is dominated by the unorganised sector. Prakash pointed out that "the company will be offering an end-to-end signage solution with warranty. The solution will avoid the hassle of dealing with multiple vendors for retail segment". |
