Lucknow Management Association (LMA), an affiliate of All India Management Association (AIMA), has been awarded the 'Best Management Association Award' for 2015-16.
The Award was received by LMA President and Advisor to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Alok Ranjan and LMA Vice-President A K Mathur from Union MoS for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore at AIMA's 43rd National Management Convention in New Delhi on Thursday.
LMA has won the award in Category-II for the third consecutive year and is entitled to be upgraded to AIMA's Category-I association to join the league of the metro cities.
LMA has been engaged in proliferation of principles of management besides providing inputs on public policy through programmes on wide range of subjects, including labour reforms, developmental economics, energy, public transport, rural development, education, finance, taxation, smart cities, urban rejuvenation etc.
Meanwhile, Ranjan met incoming AIMA President and Hero Corporate Services Chairman Sunil Kant Munjal and invited Hero Group to invest in Uttar Pradesh.
