Strong export demand due to fall in rupee against dollar also boosted the upsurge

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Castorseed prices rose by Rs 75 to Rs 3,815 per quintal in futures trade today following heavy buying by traders, driven by firm spot market sentiment.

Most active near October contract too shot up by Rs 71, or 1.85% to Rs 3,909 per quintal, having an open interest of 1,26,760 lots.
