Chana down 0.57% on fresh arrivals
Hopes of higher production affected the trade

Chana futures for April moved down by Rs 20, or 0.35% in 71,590 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the January lost Rs 18, or 0.44% to Rs 4,068 per quintal in 25,960 lots.
Speculators trimming their positions, fresh arrivals from producing regions affected the trade.
Expectations of a higher production this year also put pressure on chana.
