Crude palm oil down 0.1% on overseas trend

Tracking a weak global trend, crude palm oil prices softened by 0.18% to Rs 505.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded their positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June declined by 90 paise, or 0.18%, to Rs 505.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 89 lots.
Likewise, palm oil for delivery in July traded lower by 70 paise, or 0.14%, to Rs 505.40 per 10 kg in 210 lots.
Analysts attributed the weakness in crude palm oil prices futures to a weak global trend.
Meanwhile, palm oil lost one% to $751 a tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives.
