Soyabean prices down 1.2% on weak global cues

Soyabean prices fell by Rs 50.50 to Rs 3,889 per quintal in future trading today as speculators trimmed positions amid weak overseas markets cues.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean prices for July contracts moved down by Rs 50.50, or 1.28% to Rs 3,889 per quintal, with an open interest of 61,070 lots.
In a similar fashion, soyabean for delivery in October slipped by Rs 36.50, or 1.12% to Rs 3,225 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 10,710 lots.
